That is the best Asian cuisine IMHO. Biased though, I’m part Mauritian

I’m inclined to agree, but then my dad is Mauritian. The vegetable achar was the nicest pickle I’ve ever had, but I am partial to lime pickle or aubergine pickle too.

    Evil grimmace-inducing vileness

Now a good green chillie pickle or even a chillie and mango one preferably homemade .

Reminds me of one of my dad’s funny stories. He’s very much a people person and could start a conversation in an empty room. He was in the local restaurant and complimented the waiter on a really excellent lime pickle.

That’s the best lime pickle I’ve ever tasted. Does the chef make it fresh? What’s his secret?

    Injah (and slightly confused)

Sorry, I’m not sure what you mean.

    Injah. It comes injah.

Truly fantastic stuff, whatever way it comes.

Anila’s pickles. Try them. I also eat the lime pickle out of the jar, particularly after a hard ride when I’m craving salty and oily
