Had a good mate in Wigan, drifted apart now, but used to go there for weekends, was always great – and always ended up at a chippy in Hindley getting fish, chips, mushy peas, all covered in gravy.

The yoof on the shift meal delivery van told us it was steak pie one night .so got some and asked where the puff pastry was to be told there was none (ok so its a stew then we said. no he replied it’s a steak pie the chef said so) after that I have to laugh at people that get annoyed about a bit of puff pastry with stew not being a pie.
