    Guys,

Im after a hardtail frame that will take tapered forks for the wife, needs to support upto 120mm (I have the forks all ready).

I have been reading a little and what I have read suggests you can run tapered forks in any frame that runs an internal headset? is that correct? what are my options.

    Cheers

    Stu

Buy a second-hand cube Ltd. With a 120mm fork in the geometry’s not too dissimilar to a Stanton slackline (short chain stays and all that guff). I love mine. They’re 7005 alloy, (which is tougher than 6061 – at the minor expense of some corrosion resistance – clean it), so as tough as old boots.

    Enjoy.

Edit – sorry, missed the bit about the tapered steerer. Not sure if an external lower bearing would render that possible or not..
