I rather like teepees but would consider anything …needs to be lightish preferably without breaking the bank if possible.

How lightish – are you going to be carrying it? And how spendy?

Ive never seen a light 2-man tent you can stand up in – there are a few 3-4 man tents like the Megahorn 2 and the Zephyros 3 Living but they are both 4-5kg or so thereabouts and not exactly cheap.

4kg would be ok ….as far as i can see the megahorn isn’t available at the moment . saw the vango galaxy 300 which looked quite nice and spacious.

Vango Omega 250 – it is just over weight I think, but uber spacious, taller than most, and a great base camp/canoeing tent IMO, but I wouldn’t want to carry it far.

Macpac Citadel – but would be north of £450 iirc, but is nearly standup inside, and just over 3kg I think.

You will struggle for a tent that is 6′ tall at that weight.
