I live on the top floor of 3 story block, garage is in the same block but there’s no way of getting power. Just looking at options for lighting so I can get the rollers set up, doesn’t need to be massively bright just enough so I don’t feel like I’m cycling in a cave. Rechargeable too would be handy!

I got a small solar panel from Maplins which trickle charges a 12v leisure battery, which powers bright 12v lighting for one of our sheds some way from house, it works fine, haven’t had to do anything to it (like extra charging) for over a year now. cheers

Go Outdoors will sell a selection of rechargeable lanterns.

Mine’s like this one, might even be the same with a different name on it…

Also if it’s not already a light colour a coat of white paint on the walls/ceiling will do wonders for brightening it up and making the most of what light you use in there.

I have one of these. Plenty bright enough and lasts 4 hours (allegedly, haven’t used it for that long).

Could always run a cable down the outside of the building……
