    Currently my MTB has a Shimano Acera FC-M391 44-32-22T Crankset + a Shimano BB-UN 26
Cartridge Type bottom bracket with 170mm cranks

Im aiming to shave off a few lbs by dropping a ring & swapping to a hollow bb but ive never changed that part of my bike before and wondered what reccomendations people have for tools & kit needed to do the job

You’ll need 1 bb tool for each type and crank extractor also – £30?

You won’t lose even 1lb tho.
