mmm, isn't it illegal to have a forward facing red light/rearward facing white? They'd have to only switch on for half the revolution.

Its a good idea for some additional visibility, wouldn't replace normal fixed lights though

I'm with richmtb. If they could have the reflective sidewall – like on a Schwalbe Marathon Plus – aswell then I'd consider them for a commuter. Need to be a 700x32c size though.

There are all sorts of valve/logo/LED problems gonna arise from this.

i was at 'ingleton' today in the good 'yorkshire Dales' i popped into a local outdoor shop, where they sold fluresant (cant spell that word) lol anyway luminous flashing lights to add to your spokes…you can have it flashing or constant luminous green.. not bad for 7.99… dont think id like lights in my tyres tho (above pic)….surely they would pop out ?

It says they are powered by the rotation of the wheel…

That is clearly a hoax. Can't you see the fork is unlikely to work. And the drivetrain is on the left hand side…

Forget boring red and white, this is where it's at!

(Clicky for details and how-to guide – I really must get round to trying it myself)
