Trout, Smudge…..I know nothing about the techie side, looking for something good quality, no frills, powerful enough for pootling around the woods.

I think I'd like to order a 600 lumen and matching battery pack and charger. How do I go about it please?

it is a triple XPE light on a 20 mm board with a tiny 20 mm triple optic

    see the pic

on the left a 10 mm xpe optic , triple board and optic , MR11 triple optic as seen in the lumicycle led light .
the 600 will expand to 1000 when it gets the XPG led in it

also see this kit from cutters http://www.cutter.com.au/proddetail.php?prod=cut889 nowt to do with me but it is a good diy light to build

Good choice McBoo, let us know when you get it up and running. You'll be ahead of the demand for lights this winter 8)
