My brother-in-law has just got himself a bike for commuting duties after many years bike less.
I’m getting him some lights for his b’day, but am out of touch with cheap F&R sets, since I got my magicshine and then a Trout LL.
So what’s a good set for up to 20 quid?

I’d seen these on the on-one site for a bit cheaper still.
Will probably get a set unless someone comes along with a killer bargain.

I asked the same question recently and got similar advice. I got the lax 15 set for twenty five notes.

There are some 300 lumen bike lights on ebay for ~£6, OK so theyre not actualy 300 lumen, but they are marginaly brighter than the tesco torches everyone raved about a couple of years back.

Run off 3x AAA, baterylife is ~90min. Reliability is marginal so get 2, IIRC for £1 more they came with a basic rear light.
