Has anyone got the LiFX system? I was looking at putting a bulb in my bedroom and use it to wake up gradually, like those light alarm clocks you can get but without the watermelon size.

The hue system seems to have lots of components

I’ve gone LIFX purely on the basis that you don’t need to buy the separate bridge which seems excessive if only buying one or two bulbs at most. LIFX integration with IFTTT is pretty neat too.

Of the three lamps in the Hue starter kit, two have had to be replaced

There’s an osram kit as well isn’t there? I think it’s compatable with hue hubs.
