Like a spacehopper unless you get the tyre pressure just right. 😆

    Great fun though.

So is it like riding a very short travel full sus?

Kinda like a short travel full suss, but loads more grip on wet rock and roots as the tyres bend around stuff at low pressures and have a large contact area – but they can have a hell of a rebound off stuff at speed so not always great for higher speed riding 🙂
Trails like Drumlandrig in the wet they are superb,
Using them off the beaten track they are very rewarding riding where regular bikes just do not have the grip or it is just too hard to keep moving forward if the going is really soft. Often they will amaze you what they can ride through…
Expect to see more getting used for regular trail riding with the On One fatbike on the way, also an inbetween fat/regular bike from Surly soon 😉

glow cables??? 😀 where did you find those?

Love the splits in the rim especially with coloured rim tape, very cool.
Are they not masses of effort to get to move though?

No surprisingly easy in fact, that was my biggest surprise. For fun I commuted in on mine the other day:

A little slower than usual but more because the gearing I have is quite low (32:20) and I was spinning out at 13mph

Surprisingly sprightly. I bought mine mostly for use in the winter but it has become my default ride. Expect to see a lot more of them on the trails.
