    like Moses said, Statutary Declaration is the way to go, easy and Cheap.

    My wife and I changed our surnames after we got married adding the Mc from her surname to mine to make McRiley.

    Had a few issues with Orange refusing to change the name on my mobile, but they saw sense eventually. Apart from that it was easy to change it with everyone, you just send them a photocopy of the declartion.
