I have recently started to riding a newish commuter bike to work and am regularly suffering with leg pain ??

its the muscle in the front of you upper leg and just in above the knee on both legs.

    This is the bike ………..

I dont tend to push a hard gear as I like to keep a high cadnece?

I just dont feel that comfortable on it for some reason?

    Any ideas?
    Cheers

It’s those mission panniers, Steve, you need to put one on each side of the back wheel!.

Usually saddle height too high or too low IME.

Also try regular stretching when warmed up.

Should I try and raise the seat a bit then?

Also this sounds a bit bad but when I’m sat on the saddle I feel as though the front of the saddle is crushing my nuts??

If it’s that bad either see a GP who will get you at least one physio appointment if you make it sound bad enough! Or look at a muscle/biology chart to figure out which ligaments/muscles are hurting, google stretches you can do for them and do them a few times during the day. Ibrupofen gel helps too.

It’s only on my commuter though?? Can ride my full susser all day?

I’ve tried to set the commuter up roughly the same as that?

Does it sound lIke the saddle nose is pointing up as by sight it doesn’t look like it?

Get the tape measure out and check how close it is to your regular bike

Do both bikes have the same saddle?

    Yep both got charge spoons!

    What am I measuring?

I would start by comparing saddle height and saddle position relative to the bottom bracket.

Then check saddle to bar drop as it’s possible your weight is further forward and your sitting on your bits.
