barnsleymitch - A far more concerning fact is that the BNP are now shying away from even turning up mob handed to spread their 'message' with fists.
On many occassions lately the BNP (or their EDL friends) have advertised on their websites proposed protests, the ANL have organised counter-protests, then on the day the BNP/EDL stay away and leave the police with only ANL supporters to deal with. This, I've no doubt, is starting to portray the ANL as 'rent-a-mob' in the eyes of some members of the general public and perversely may bestow feelings of sympathy on those they oppose.
This is far more worrying than NG appearing on QT, far-right idiots getting organised. If the ANL don't start thinking about their actions scenes such as those at the BBC the other day could help the BNP gain a perception as being 'moderate' to those that vote without exploring in depth.
I'm not for one moment saying the ANL shouldn't be able to protest, I fully agree with their aims, just that the manner in which they are doing it at the moment may be doing the BNP's PR work for them.
