Okay I might have to put my manhhod in a box and hand it back.

But what’s the flipping knack with Leffe corks, how can pissed Belgians get the things out? Managed two of the six, the others all snapped at the neck.
    750ml bottles BTW.

Work your way around pushing upwards with your thumb (like you would a champagne cork). Then when its halfway out grab it a twist it. Always works for me.

    Is it really that difficult?!

Teeth to get it going then twist and pull…

Don’t push up, that’s how they get snapped. Hold the cork tightly and twist the body of the bottle with your other hand.

The old fashioned champagne approach works best.

Simply wrap in a tea towel and twist, firmly but gently.

    A tea towel? Champagne? WTF?

Agree with above. Twist the bottle, not the cork. Same as you would with Champagne.

I’ve found that the colder the bottle, the harder it is to remove the cork.

I use a corkscrew if it’s really stuck

    Or simply upgrade…

    You call that an upgrade?

Ok so upgrade is pushing it, comes with an easy open option though?

    It’s a lager, not a tune.
