Have a flight to catch later today, and am thinking of swerving the £20 in a taxi, and riding out there. It would mean leaving my bike for a couple of days – there's just a bike rack there AFAIK, nothing special.

Anyone make a habit of this? I reckon the thieving scumbag quotient would be fairly low at an airport, not much opportunistic theft. What do ye reckon?

probably few more cctved/security places, so probably alright but are there actually bike storage areas at airports? i've never seen one, but if they're reasonably close to the busy parts i'd have thought you'd be ok.

You might want to remove any expensve/removeable bits, but I agree you'd think it should be reasonably safe.

I've left mine at left luggage before.
