Bought the Nidd model a few weeks ago and tried it for the first time yesterday.

Very impressed with the quality – leather thicker than a Brooks, nice shape, metalwork seems fine.
Going to take a hell of a lot of breaking in though!

Have applied a little dubbin and a coat of proofhide just to weatherproof it, but my god it’s a solid piece of kit.

Anyone put a few miles on one? Interested to know how you’re getting on.

There’s a long thread on the yacf forum about them if you do a search there.

I fitted one to my road bike back in April. It is indeed a very solid piece of kit. I love it, but after the better part of 2000 miles, it still hasnt fully broken in.

Having said that, was riding 70 miles within a few weeks, with no(t too many) problems.
