    Hi,
My son wants to learn the guitar over the summer holidays. Any good websites or books to try before we spend money on lessons?
He’s got grade 5 on the French Horn so he can read music.

    Thanks,
    R

    Look at http://www.guitarnoise.com/

David Hodge does some superb tuition and it’s all free.

    Well recommended.

This lad is self taught! Picked up a guitar in his teens and now touring the world!

    So it’s easy?
That’s good. What, 2-3 weeks, then fame and lots of money!
    Thanks,

    You need ‘the gift’

    Here’s another self taught genius:

And! added bonus he also proves there is no requirement for ‘looks’!

Teddy Bare, was that from ‘Sniffin Glue’?

The instruction manual that launched a whole herd of punk bands. Happy days.

Justin Guitar is good although a good teacher would be better.

Indeed it was… Yes, they were – got me motivated, anyway!
