Went for a nice spin along the country lanes this morning and will be going out after work on the mtb to say goodbye to summer, all be it the wettest for donkeys years.

    “Summer”? Pfffffffftt…

It was sunny but around 6 degrees this morning!

I shouldn’t be yearning after my full-finger gloves and long-sleeve tops in August.
    It felt more like October.

Wore roubaix 3/4’s and long sleeves and gilet to celebrate. Met Office defines Summer by calendar months to allow for easy historic reference to past data.
