  • Larger child booster seats?

Jnr FD is 6 years old and 130cm tall, so getting too big for his car seat.

We have been passed on a couple of booster seats by friends, but they are not big enough! (he is not fat, just big for his age)

They are too small around his bum, and not long enough for his thighs.

Are there any booster seats that are actually for larger kids?

Britax adventure suits my 7.5 yr old nicely, he used to complain of being uncomfortable but seems to be ok now. It’s a high back one, has some handily angled head rests to support them if they fall asleep.

Your boy must be really tall – he’s only 5cm off the legal limit for not needing one!

Britax for our big 7yo.. Kidfix I think it was called but looks like current version is slightly different.
