I have a Packard bell easynote tj68, and have been having charging problems with it for about a year. I’m currently on my 3rd charger, and it’s stopped charging (again), and isn’t even working when plugged in. It’s about 3 years old – should I just bin it and get a new one?

ive got a PB easynote too, which stopped charging only due to a bit of rough handling and the charging socket getting bent. was about to scrap it myself until a lad at work painstakingly took it all to bits, labelled and took pics of stuff, told me what to order (few pence from ebay), i took it to a mates dad who does soldering on circuitboards, he fitted it to the board, then my mate put it all back together. and in the process found a loose trackpad connection which had also nearly caused me to bin it due to the screen magnifying and bouncing around all over the place.
its now good as new 😀

sorry, doesnt help you much there, but it can be done if you know what youre doing. i didnt, but my mate did 😀
