Hubby and I were out several years ago riding the Ridgeway. I was on front but on a steep, (he would say ‘slight’ incline), I lost momentum and stopped. He was following close and fell into a large clump of nettles. The air turned blue for a while.

Needless to say, this minor incident is still brought up. Should I just fit my bike with brake lights? Buy him some dock leaves for his birthday?

Ha, ha – I’m on hubby’s side, although it’s probably his fault for riding too close to his mincing Mrs.

He rode too close. Novice error. Tell hubby to HTFU 😀

Dock leaves is a good idea, maybe freeze some and take them out in your camelback with you 😉

    Isn’t that what women do?

Using the word ‘hubby’ is a particularly crap thing to do…

Calling yourself loddrik is a particularly crap thing to do, but do you see anyone making a fuss about it?

I was dropped in a whole stream embankment filled with nettles by my brother while wearing shorts and nothing else. I’d forgotten it by the end of the day. Tell “hubby” to man up 🙂

Anyone else reckon hubby’s looking for penance rather than apology ?
