Any suggestions for a good campsite in the lakes close to some good riding? Ideally I want a site where the tents don’t have to be pitched separately from the motorhome.

Try here, close to Whinlatter and lots of other stuff. I think they will let you pitch tents on the grass in the middle of the van area. I stayed there in May and it is a reasonable site walking distance from a pub as well.

Low Wray NT campsite we managed to tent up next to our small camper it was empty mind!
