Nukeproofs without a shadow of a doubt – have used 661 and Fox Launch, the Nukeproofs are by far the best.

Rubber grippers mean you don’t need to crank up the straps too tight, nice and secure, not too hot either.

I have the Nukeproof elbows and they are great. But they are d30 or sastec or whatever, whereas the knee is hard cup which gives me pause

How about going for the Attagirl or Attaboy kneepads?

I’ve had 2 pairs of Nukeproofs fall apart in 6 months so don’t bother with them. I’m just waiting for some Fox Launch Pros to arrive as a replacement.

I’ve used 661 rage on my chunky knees all summer… They’re great! You can ride all day long with minimal chaffing and I’ve used them in anger with no damage…still going strong

Sweet Protection Bearsuit knee pads (they do matching elbows and a full suit too)
