The battery pack for my 1 year old Fluxient XML thing has decided it doesn’t want to charge any more. I’ve tested it with another charger and it doesn’t register as having the battery plugged in at all.

Is there anything I can do at home to test what’s up with it? TI was holding charge fine up until the point where it stopped charging at all.

Can you post a picture of that battery pack?

Have you cleaned the contacts? Checked the pins are straight?

I purchased a replacement battery for my solarstorm from ollyboyd via ebay – it uses the same charger but is at least three times better.

Check connections and gibe them a clean, same to for wires in pack. Pop a meter on the battery lead and see what juice its got.
I just replaced my old one with a 6 cell £12.99 one from fleabag and it seems to work alright, will find out tomorrow in Parkamoor

Ripped it all apart last night, one of the connections from the PCB on there has come loose.

Whats the risk with resoldering stuff on to batteries, certain death? exploding acid in my face?

The absolute bodger in me is thinking just sugru the thing back on :$
