    Just about to pull the trigger on a frame for my next project.

    Having looked at lots of CX/Gravel type frames and bikes I’ve settled on this.

    Just wanted to know what the real life clearance is for tyres can you get away with 40s and mud guards?

    Using the disclaimer that not all rim/tyre combos size up the same I currently have some 38mm tyres on mine and it has comfortable room for mudguards. 40mm should be no problem provided you don’t want 40mm, mudguards and claggy mud (just spray).

    My green V1 will not fit surly Knard in the rear, front is fine though

    40mm nanos in mine at the moment. Not ridden them yet but there is still some clearance.

    I think you’d struggle with guards though I’m not running any.

    have run 35mm and mudguards on my pro6 – looked tight to me
