Had it on in background whilst doing something else…

    Was very nearly sick.

Could not watch anymore than the time it took to realise what was on the tv and me turning the tv off.

I’ve seen a lot of that sort of stuff in person,it traumatises me 1000 fold to watch it voluntarily.

A night of nightmares for me tonight now.

knew I couldnt watch it, having 2 young children has really made me sensitive to this kind of news
I might try and watch it later in the week

even worse is the fact that we helped arm the government

last year we sold the government

items ranging from assault rifles and shotguns through to weapons sights, pistols and ammunition

and of course Liam Fox MP has been a great friend to the regime… at the time

How many people have been brought to justice? The Sri Lankan government just says it was all faked knowing that it would be forgotten about in a few years. Makes me sick.

Jon Snow’s comment regarding the upcoming Commonwealth meeting between Hague, Cameron in Sri Lanka

Hague’s twitter account is@williamjhague if you feel the need to raise any issues you’d like to see answered at the upcoming commonwealth heads of government meeting.

Email address for foreign office is private.officegsi@fco.gsi.gov.uk, although don’t expect any more than a standard fco reply.

Like Jon Snow mentions at the bottom of his report, it’s our tax money that paid for the drinks event last month, i’m so glad that the tax i pay goes to justifiable good causes like that.

    ****…the lot of them
