    just spoken to the owner of the campsite. there are puddles starting to form, and mud may be an issue, but she has another field she may open if things get bad, but that means a longer walk to the facilities I believe. But hey we're doing a hundred mile MTB race, we can handle a bit of rain…

    also be careful on the road leading to the village that runs along the side of kielder water. there are some quite big potholes in this road, and if they're filled with water you won't know the size or depth of them
