We’d like to buy our grandkids (aged 6 and 5) some knee and elbow pads for Christmas. Has anyone any recommendations?

nope other than crapy cheap plastic skate pads you’ll be lucky to find anything suitable for cycling. Lewis (9) has a pair of Leatt 3DF kids knee pads and they barely fit him.

I keep looking to get some for my 9 year old in the hope they may give him a bit more confidence, you’d probably be best looking at motocross pads as they do go down to very small sizes but unfortunately lack the mobility of cycling specific pads.

My 4yo was given a set of Scotts d3o elbow pads that he uses
as knee pads. They are perfect for hid enthusiastic pedalling and protection.
Had we not been given these, I would have dropped the cash on some g-form elbow pads to use as knees.
Other than using xs/s sized adult elbows, I’ve not figured a cheap but effect solutions
