    Just on to 26 wheels so l swapped the heavy rubber for something lighter,then noticed the deus stem,carbon bars and post gathering dust… And the hope xc wheelset….and the SIDS from my old superlight:oops: in my defense he does ride it a lot ( did the speyside way on bikes last week)

    Bought a girls hot rock off here. Had it resprayed VW orange by a mate (VW camperco), cleaned all the bits, resprayed a few Matt black and put some new cables and seat on, looks awesome.

    My lads Hotrock 24 will soon be sporting Exotic carbon forks & a BB5 front brake. A set of SB8’s will go on afterwards, & I’ll pick up some cheap own brand seatpost/bars/stem etc, off the Classifieds next door. It should be around the same weight as a Beinn 24 then. Doesnt seem to be a reasonably priced lightweight 24″ rims available, so the stock ones will have to stay.
