Where can I get kids baggy cycling shorts for my 9 year old nephew?

For general mucking about on his BMX.

    Thanks in advance – Crank

Any old shorts will probably do.

I have never seen a bmx rider wearing cycling shorts.

dt – thanks for averting a fashion faux pas. Although I was hoping to encourage him to ditch the toy and get a bike 🙂

Normal shorts are also fine for riding bigger bikes as well.

Polaris make decent kids baggies. Try ebay

Set him off on the right path (i.e. a bmx)

At least then he wont end up on here wondering how much travel he needs to ride round llangdegla.

Are baggies now old school? Or is this use of any-old-shorts another symptom of austerity?

I think what he really wants is some old jeans with the bottoms cut off.

My troops have these and there great – includes removable inner. Go up a size though.

+1 for the Polaris ones, used by mini Greasers. The new ones have a removable liner but twice the price of the Decathlon ones.
