I attach a trailer to my bike for trips with the kids, I need a kickstand to let me get off the bike and keep it upright when in the middle of the park with nothing to prop it up against

Needs to be easily removable as I don’t really fancy keeping it on all the time, just when I attach the trailer

The trailer is attaches to the rear skewer with a little bracket, i don’t mind leaving this on. Any suggestions?

That eBay job wouldn’t work as there isn’t enough space to fit it (Spesh Hardrock Sport Disc 29)

Will check pletscher out, cheers. Trying to see if thereis one that attaches to the chainstay only

Obviously our friend Mr Cornell got so frustrated trying to fit a kickstand satisfactorily that he started looking at trikes.

    Careful now…

Try this, there are a few variants of this type of stand but it does mean you only attach the stand to the bike when needed

Brother Will, thanks, that stand looks good

I’m going to look for something similar but perhaps slightly cheaper. I’m also going to see if I can find a fishing rod rest that might work for the same purposes as it’ll probably be cheap, not sure how small it will fold though…

Just get a double legged stand and use it for a few years. Have one on the tandem and it would hold up the stoker without any trouble. Also useful for maintenance.
