    Is it the next year must have bling? I refuse to believe if marketing will try to swing and claim – the end of coil shocks, or something within those lines.

    I wonder if they can be retrofitted to older shocks? Could be a fairly simple upgrade then.

    When was their an issue with the STD coating? Unless grit got into the internal seals.

    Supposedly this is smoother with lower static coefficient of friction.

    Would be better, but by what proportion is questionable, looks good though!

    Expect to pay a premium on them too as with the Kashima uppers over the standard coating ones.

    The STD coating can wear VERY quickly if used heavily or not serviced every 10 hours or whatever Fox recommend. I think it’s Fox’s way of marketing a problem into an upgrade!!

    If it’s cleaned regularly and avoid jetwashing and bike wash the standard coating will last years.

    retro, true I’m not sure how much better the kashima will be with resisting ‘rock body tube interfaces’ 😀
