Anyone have 2011 kashima coated fox forks yet?
    Any reports; good/bad/indifferent?
Would the coating be worth, say an extra £100?
As it's a life prolonging feature, it may be too early to tell.
    Thanks

Is it purely coincidental that the 100 hour service is now a 30 hour service as of 2011?

Have the Fox 36 Talas (18-mm) with the Kashina. Faultless so far. Been out to France and lots of riding in local woods etc and the stantions are spotless – no trail dust etc. Took a day or so to break them in, but have'nt touched them since. Have a ccdb on the rear shock and they complement each other very nicely.

Are you riding the Talas set at 140mm for any length of time? Would be interested to know how the fork performs set at this travel, thinking about it for a Mojo HD build (running 140mm but with the option to open it up to 180mm at times…) 🙂

Been using the 36 float (160mm) for three months, all good so far and the best fork I've ridden 🙂

I'll report back after the winter!

Only had my F120's for 2 weeks so can't give you a report but def less stiction out the box and the nail rub tests against the uppers is very smooth compared with my old 07' RL's. Oh and "plush" as you like 🙂 Very happy 🙂

I have to add however the manual still states the 15Hr seal clean!!
