Standing at the self checkout (Sainsbury’s – not just admiring myself again) about to put my card in and notice the American Express card left by the previous customer. I didn’t think anything other than it would be terrible if it had been me that lost my card and handed it in straight away.
As soon as had done so I started imagining what I might have been able to do with some else’s card. Bad thoughts – banish them bad person!
Later, biking across town, I found one of those cheap rear lights lying in the road. It had batteries and it worked. Put in my pocket. Thankyouverymuch.
So the world is in balance. Unless the shifty looking lad I gave the card to in Sainsburys has just bought a Maserati.
