Needs work, loads of interest and we’ve gone in quite a bit over asking as it ticks all the boxes.

Should know later today, what do you reckon?
    Yay or Nay?

Is it a “sealed offers” with a closing date type sale?

If not, why would you ever ask more than asking?

“gone in quite a bit over asking as it ticks all the boxes.”

    clue for the lowballers .

Its almost entirely market dependant – if somebody put in a crazy low offer
for a house I was selling where I live they would not get the chance to buy at the full price – as I would not risk a gazundering .

Looks like we have been successful 😀

It was sealed bids, they had 12 offers on it in the end, all over asking. It was priced to attract attention/quick sale.
It’s perfect for what we want it for and to do with it so happy to have got it.

Went to what we could afford and it looks like we may have been a bit over the next best but the proceeds of the sale are going to charity so hoping for some good karma.. 😀

Looks a solid house that just needs cosmetic work, with a lovely garden.

Sounds like an excellent location if every ride ends with a downhill 🙂

That garden is a full time job. I have just moved from a place with a similar sized garden, even when we turfed all the flower beds, it was still loads of work.

    I hate gardening.

Some of that decor is sooo out of date it’s back in. Get some brown cords and keep it – save yersen a fortune! Well done by the way – you must feel proper chuffed.

We bought a similar (perhaps 10 years or so newer) that that but similarly old fashioned as it was owned from new by pensioners and they didn’t do a thing with it

Four years later and we have done every room bar the front room & utility + completely made-over the garden.

Don’t under-estimate the £££££ and time it will take! I reckon we have spent £80k on ours and I have just managed to go to the gym for the first time in 5 months last night (we had a deadline to complete the garden for a party last week so that took every spare moment I had.
