My old 9 speed cassette and rear mech were shot so i took the plunge and went 11×1 shimano XT.

It was a doddle to set up and runs like a dream (need to take a few links out of the chain though)

Just about to pop into Evans and pick mine up for both bikes. 🙂 Just need 2 x chains and front rings.

What chainring did you go for 30 or 32 BTW?

I’m assuming a SRAM chain will work OK, it did on 9 and 10 speed, anybody know if it will be OK?

I believe an SRAM will work but I just went with the XT. I went for a superstar 32 front to start with.
