    so ive been rebuilding my bike after stripping it and servicing it.

    ive replaced the cassette and chain with some quality sram gear .

    In the granny ring at the front its all as smooth as silk.

    In the middle ring its catching and skipping/sucking like a bitch.

    Top ring is smooth .

    iv just checked my back orders on crc and see that i replaced the middle ring with a deore steel one in 2006!!! so its had 3 years of riding to wear it out.

    any recommendations on what to replace it with ?? another deore steel perhaps?
