Hi My name is Martin I’ve 35 and I’ve recently got back into Mountain biking I have not ridden a bike since I was 16.
For the Last year and a half been riding a Cailber Two Two (Go outdoors) don’t laugh.
Not a bad bike for the money but has had following upgrades
1 x 10 Zee derailleur
Race face narrow wide
wider truvativ holzfeller with a riser
Raceface Grips
and some WTB laser trail rims with DT 370 hubs
Dropper and new seat not pictured (I know the seat is not angled correctly)
Most of the upgrades were second hand.
I go to Cannock or Lickly Hills (Lickey being my favorite)
I’m looking for a more capable frame that can take a longer fork
something like a On One 456 or NS surge or a Ragley Bagger still keeping to the 26inch so I can just swap over all my stuff.
Just a side note, many 650b frames will take 26″ wheels with no problem.
A slightly lower BB isn’t always a bad thing. Something to think about anyway.
With that in mind, the Dartmoor Hornet is great value, but I haven’t ridden one to know if it’s a bit stiff and fatiguing.

Tilt the seat back also – more weight on the bumps than the plums. Oh. erm. hang on.
