I have one and haven't died yet! you need to grease the threads a little but i use it on a hardtail and its fine so far!

A mate has one, very bendy but in a really nice compliant way, still perfectly straight and looks like a good bit of kit to me.
He's was 27.2mm and weighed-in at 198g if your interested.Posted 5 months ago # -

I had one no probs with breakage etc. Did find the 27.2 a ridiculous tight fit tho, not sure if just mine or a prob others have had?

Rob is right though, make sure you grease the threads or they squeak!
