  • Jet 2 and bike transportation – possibly a daft question

    Looking to book a flight with Jet2 and noticed that “bicycles must be wrapped in stiff cardboard”.
    Was planning on using my padded bike bag that I’ve flown with plenty of times before – do Jet2 allow these or do they require bikes to be in cardboard boxes?
    I don’t want to get to the airport and have some little jobsworth tell me they won’t take my bike as I haven’t packed it as stipulated.

    Never had a problem flying to Leeds with Jet2 and using a bike bag.
