Not in a report prepeared by his peers.

    What are you talking about?

spending prosecutorial time and money on a trial that can’t lead to a conviction means that other offences (for which people could be convicted) won’t be prosecuted.

If that’s right, surely the message that the establishment are not untouchable should be sent out…and may prevent more crime in the future?

It seems like a complete waste of money given the doctors evidence of him being unfit to face trial.

It’s not a waste of time his victims need justice even if it is late in the day.

It’s just a matter of time before the police get his ‘mate’ as well.

the law doesn’t have emotion, when he goes to stand trial there will be a hearing to see if he is fit to and in all likely hood he won’t be given his current medical issues. The only reason its gone this far is purely down to public outrage swaying the courts which is pretty wrong.

Or Justice has to be seen to be done: in this case the Judge and Court seeing the actual state of the alleged. Who then went home for a nice ice cream and oblivion.

He did look pretty old and frail in that photo on the Telegraph.

Glad he turned up though, put the whole “Will he/Won’t he” to bed, I expect there will be more to this story soon enough.
