Signed up to flickr today. Got approved for the set recommended in the photo a day thread.
Uploaded a few pics, but not added them to my photo a day set yet, as I want to perhaps edit them…

Already finding it hard to make the decision about which pics to use for a certain day. Feeling quite upbeat about this, as it’s already sparked a bit of creativity & thought….

Here’s today’s pic, but I haven’t yet added it to my pic a day set yet as I may edit it (need to work out how to upload from flickr….)

flickr is loads more complicated

I have to say, I’ve always been put off the site as compared to others it seems really shonky to navigate… Not keen…

I’ve always found that, but thought it was probably more from a viewer point of view than a user. Given the amount of people that use it, I figured it must be OK once you get into it.
But, I am finding it hard going. Photobucket seems to soften images a bit though, which flickr doesn’t appear to do. Quite impressed with the crispness of the image I posted, given it was handheld in a dark garage (lit with an LED cupboard light) using my Nikon P300 rather than my SLR.

i thought i must be the only one that hated flickr but since i’m not alone i’ll just add that i use pinkbike. it couldn’t be any easier to use (for users and viewers) and the image quality is excellent.
