Guess it depends how they setup iPhones for your work. In theory iPhones are tied to an Apple ID / iTunes account, so if you have a shared “work” Apple ID that everyone uses then you’ll all share the music on that account too.

If I had a new iPhone given to me, with music already installed, there would be some very pointed questions asked about the provenance of said phone.
Quite apart from not wanting someone else deciding my music tastes for me.
