  • I've got £150 for an XC 80-100mm Fork – which one?

Want a solid steering, reliable set-and-forget fork to go with a steel hardtail.
    Not too fussed about weight.

If going for the 2nd hand options – what’s best – a Reba?
If new, are the RockShox Recon Silver TK Coil, currently £100 from ‘On-One’ any good?

    Thanks a lot.

Recons are good forks but I think the TK models have inferior damping and coil will be heavy

At that price I wouldn’t look much further than a used Reba. You should get a good dual air for that cash! 🙂

I’ve got a 06 RockShox REBA SL set at 120mm travel, for sale at £120. Came off my trance, excellent forks, only got replaced as i got a good deal on new vanillas.

‘ChunkyMTB’ – Sids could be good…
can you mail me pics/steerer lenght etc: barnabyedwards (at) mac (dot) com

‘blaggers’ – thanks but I need 100mm or less.

If there are any Rebas out that as suggested by PPoddy
