I’m driving to the West of Ireland tomorrow. By Friday, I’ll be at less than half the temperature it’s been in Bristol today. And it’ll be **** raining. So I’m enjoying this unbearable heat while I can. With a cider. 🙂
We’re not geared up for these extended periods of warmth
I was just reading in the Metro about some councils sending out the gritters to spread granite dust because the tarmac was melting and sticking to car tyres.

Yeah things are improving and are actually looking up. How are you? Good to see you back around. May have to get over my hate/fear of FB messenger and install it to message you
Lol yeah I’m not keen on it mate either I prefer instagram these days. Glad all well I’m sound mate if a little unfit and unbike fit but I aim to change that from now on.
Been out for an arduous 1hr 45 mins on the bike tonight, I ha e to be honest it was ridiculously hot! That after a day of proper grafting groundworking has seen me consume about 4 litres of water so far today!
44 degrees in the sun today, a/c expired on drive home wihile stuck in traffic 🙁 oh well there’ll be cheap deals to replace that now its nearly July …. not
Article says it only works if all the excess sweat you produce can evaporate, but i’d imagine most people are at their upper limit of sweatiness (esp. if it’s 34 degrees) already, even more so if you are wearing clothes because you are in an office.
Got a trip planned for next week so I’m sitting in the garden with a glass of red, stripping/cleaning the bike in preparation Very pleasant. I’m not complaining 🙂
