level 5
but I did have a big bowl of stupid for breakfast
Level 10.
I'm having a maths party now!
Done. Tricky though.
OK "died" twice but to got to lev 8 and got bored. Keyboard helps.
Super stupid. Level 3.
I enjoyed "sohcahtoa" being thrown into the victory music
It's quite loud for those of you clicking the link in an office environment.
Or when on a skype call, in my case
completed first time and got the dancy Vordermann. Fairly easy apart from the equation solving which you could nearly always do by working out if x should be odd or even, or just by the relative size of the options given rather than actually solving it.
it's made my eyes hurt though.
Up to Level 7 and need a serious breather...
...pressure maths is tough, people.
Does it get way tougher after Level 7?
Sorry wwaswas...
If you're crap at maths, like me, do what I used to do during maths lessons instead (no, not that!).
Okay, WTF does 2x+9=17 mean?
X = 4
Oh, so the 'x' represents an unknown multiple figure, jam bo?
Maths.
But I got to Level 8 before failing.
Okay, WTF does 2x+9=17 mean?
It means that X=4
Oh, so the 'x' represents an unknown multiple figure, jam bo?
*sigh*
Maths so lost its way when it ran out of numbers and muscled its way into the letters game IMO.
Tom_W1987, I'm not having that sigh dude... last time I looked at maths seriously was 25 years ago. Then, it was all Venn diagrams and shit, my teachers urging me to bother with them because "they come in useful in real life" Hah!
So, 25 years in a maths-less environment and I'm still Level 8.
Save your sighs for the number 92. That's a cracker.
Does it get way tougher after Level 7?
No, it's easier from then on
What do you fink?
Thing is, that link wasn't that hard but if you got to level 8 being bad at maths then your teachers.....somewhere along the line....clearly went wrong.
Check these links out and I bet you'd be suprised at what you can do.

I feel like I've gatecrashed the maths geek party and I'm a-gettin a witherin'.
Fair enough.
* huffs and shuffles over to the 'numbers are pants' crowd *
did I spell it worng?
I deleted it because I decided I didn't feel that snippy! and that as algebra is a branch of maths, he wasn't wrong.
Camo, check out the links I posted matey. I'm willing to place a bet you're better at maths than you think you are.
Hmmmm....apparently I can do simple maths under pressure. I was rewarded by a terribly ugly Maths Party screen?
Not sure if it was worth it.
Might do just that, Tom_W1987... I think it was the pressure that got to me!
Not a lot harder after 7 camo, just faster!
took me two attempts each on 8, 9 and 10
Sadly I am very stupid:-(
Level 7
I didn't have a clue what 2x+ meant either.
Got to level 7 here, which is a bit of a disappointment.
I ONLY WENT AND BLOODY DID IT.
Hah!
In your face, simple maths under pressure.
* once it's explained it makes sense, sigh-guys! *
did I spell it worng?
no, we just had the same patronising thought
Awesome. Now get back to me when you've done an OU degree in mathematics.
Which is actually almost the story of my life. I was bad at maths at school (I was placed in the bottom set). Later on in life it turned out that I can do advanced mathematics with ease and a related subject has become my career path.
In other words, teachers are bastards.
In other words, teachers are bastards.
Amen to that.
I was never bad at maths, just never all that interested... and it's a fundamental truth of modern life that a calculator will do most simple maths problems faster than I can and without wilting under pressure.
Still, got there in the end. Think I'll celebrate with a venn diagram or two.
No mate, go for a pie chart. Mmmmm.
Maths get's more interesting when you get beyond doing arithmetic using a basic scientific calculator Camo.
That was probably your problem at school, it probably wasn't challenging enough.
