Got home from a mini trip to Brugge and it was sat there waiting for me.

Just got the crown race sat in a pot of boiling water and the build can commence.

It’s the 2012 Giant Trance frame with the new overdrive 2 head tube.

Can’t wait to get it built and get out.

With 2011 Sektors set at 120mm but I’ll probably go to 130mm.

It’s coming on nicely. Still trying to decide on having a go at fitting the press fit bb myself with some wood and a hammer or taking it to my LBS.

    How’s it looking?

I was thinking: “Wow looks super tidy”. Then I thought, hang on there’s something missing 😕

Ha mechs, cranks pedals you name it. Can’t do anymore until the BB is fitted. Damn press fit.

I’ve got the tools for the standard bb but not press fit.

The rrp mudguard will need to be loads tighter than that or you’ll be buzzing the tyre with it every compression, apart from that it’s looking nice, possibly the nicest balance bike i’ve seen!

Ha we said the exact same to the landlord.

Drawers and doors are useless! Probably worked just fine back in Victorian times 🙂
