His number plate is perfectly legal in the situations the car is pictured. Im sure being a law abiding kinda guy he has a pair or vosa approved plates in the boot for when on the road.

Absolutely loving the finished car looked as knakered as my spitfire at the start.

Kit – It was created to my original design as a one off but by mutual agreement Tribute Automotive are now selling the kit.

    Cool!

Legal plates were in the foot well. I never knowingly break the law. and publish pictures of it

I was on the same stand as the Kobra at the show. It really is good. I wasn’t convinced by the pictures but once you see it somehow it just works.

Looks great! Just out of interest, what’s the ball-park cost of the paint job? I’m debating whether to replace the body on my Fisher Fury (so can pick a gel coat colour), or fix the issues with the current body and get it sprayed.

~£1250 – £2500 for paint. Mine was the lower end of that range and was primer, paint and the clear coat

Single piece cast from the doors backwards. Should unbolt and re-bolt.

Mine was the prototype so let’s hope the regular kit is an exact match. My concern is that I think he changed the boot aperture.

I’d have hit the f**king roof!

    How did she do it?

Similar thing happened to a mate of mine. Converted a 1.8 mk2 gti golf into 2.9vr6. Less than a week on the road iirc and some ditsy cow ‘forgot to break’…

    Bugger – missed the auction

At least she was nice enough to admit guilt in the same email as she sent her insurance details.

Tyres were muddy from visiting Avon Tyrrell where we hold the Big Bike Bash each year. I wanted to see what they had been spending the money on that raised last year. Pretty impressive really, yes, there was other funding beyond the Big Bike Bash money but still.

    Old boat house and toilet

Looks awesome, shame about that “dozy cah” hitting it. I’d love something fun like this but need practicality and efficiency for the commute 🙁

    but need practicality and efficienc

It is watertight with the roof up.
You can fit a grandfather clock in the passenger side with the roof down.
    It does mid-30’s mpg

    Practical and efficient 😉
