    Can anyone suggest a replacement front changer for an islabike luath 26 cross bike. Islabike are quoting £50.

    Neither. Luath 26’s use a single front ring.

    OP – the average price of a RH STI lever is around £40-45 or so if you look on ebay.

    Islabikes often customise the components to fit children better and in this case they say in the full specs that the lever has a shortened reach.

    No idea if you can shorten the lever enough with the standard one so I would just pay the £50 to Islabikes safe in the knowledge that it’ll definitely work ok.
